Shorthorn Beef is available October-December and is offered by the quarter, half, or whole. All beef is grass-fed and grass-finished. Shorthorns are a dual purpose breed which means they are both for milking and for meat. It is recommended that you place an order between January and May.
Beef Prices for 2017 based on hanging weight: $3.75/lb. The average cost of a 1/4 beef is approximately $400.
All butchering is done right on the farm by Atlee Yoder. There are no extra processing fees beyond that given above.
